Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

I'm not really thrilled about giving even one star for this creepy bar but the women that took my order was very friendly so thats for her. Okie dokie what to start with maybe the pizza or the dough with tomato paste and fresh sliced mozzarella on top. Listen I am a HUGE PIZZA LOVER and I have had many kinds of pizza....Italian,Greek, inside out and upside down etc.....This pizza was by far the worst pizza I have ever had in my entire life and I'm not exaggerating. It was bland doughy and just didn't taste good at all. I created this account so I could warn and maybe save someone a few dollars. And another item that was just as good as the pizza (well better than the pizza but that wouldnt be hard to do) was the fried pepperoni. What is fried pepperoni ??? I def didn't think it was goin to be exactly that FRIED PEPPERONI deep fried with a side container of mustard. I mean really ?? It was so dry and not tasty at all such a waste of money. im used to pizza shops having items a stromboli thats what i thought that was going to be.So If you really want a pizza that has sauce on top cheese on bottom there are two places that have the best pizza like that Romanos and Pica's. it's not thick like this but it's absolutely amazing. Ok I'm over complaining just had to put it out there. Hope I save atleast one family from not eating cereal for dinner because you threw your dinner in the trash.

Simply the best best pizza, not like your traditional pizza, this is a thick crust pizza with cheese on the bottom and sauce on top, let me add that they have great strombolis and chicken wings!!

Hmmm! What and where to start. We were told that clanks had great pizza so we stopped by and decided to give it a try. Well, how can I put this....I wasted several dollars and after a bite I can say that the so famous pizza went straight to the garbage can. Althought, the establishment was very clean and welcoming. Sorry Mr. Clank I don't think I will be coming back.

Greate pizza. I have been eating this Pizza through many Owners. As of late it is as good as I remember when I was a Kid. the inside has changed little over the years except upgrading of the vending equipment, (they have a online jukebox) It still a hot spot for after the Local Softball game and gathering of friends to remember better times

I found about this place through my girlfriends family. I have had there pizza twice now and I can honestly say it not only has shrunk but they also changed the gravy they used on it last year. I love traditional Sicilian style pizza but the overly sweet gravy does not belong on pizza. Also the very soft dough has no taste. No garlic, salt nothing it's just simple plain dough reminds me of joe corbis dough. Some people like it others are in love with it and let me tell you my girlfriends family who have been eating this for generations, as of today tasting the changes and seeing their shrunken pizzas are very disappointed. Slight changes need to be made but it's still an ok pizza. Take the few steps to make it better and what it used to be and I'll have no problem revising my thoughts/reviews on this. Pizza like this is hard to find around here but this doesn't stand out against the rest around.

We went to clanks bar tonight for pizza..if you never had the experience you need to try it it's made differently dough, cheese then the sauce and the topping.

Last time I had this pizza was as a child, but I remember like it was yesterday. It's on my list to get back there ASAP. Okay, we went. It was just as I remembered. A dive bar with steadfast quality pizza. Childhood revisited!

I'm sorry why on earth is this getting good ratings. Have people in Delco gone mad ? This pizza is sub par and the sauce tasted like it just came out of the can which it did. It was not homemade and tasted like ragu spaghetti sauce. The cheese had no taste but the pepperoni was good. Who can make bad pepperoni? Any way I am ashamed of Delco to dare say that this better then Gaetanoes. I purposely went to clanks to taste the difference and came out having felt like it was worse then imperial pizza. Yikes !!

Best pizza in delco. A deep dish style pizza with sliced (not grated) mozzarella, then the sauce on top. I recommend getting it with pepperoni (unusually thick sliced) you will not be disappointed. The bar is dated (even with recent renovations) but has a comfortable local feel. Go early to pick up your pie and have a beer. You will not be sorry you did.

My dad took me here once or twice when I was a little kid. Square pizza, sauce on top of the cheese, Ms Pac-Man and a bowling game in the bar. A few years back I went again and it was like nothing had ever changed. I need to go back next time I'm in the Philadelphia area!

Quite frankly, the best pizza ever! The place is a dive, but who cares when you have fantastic pizza and draught beer!

My stepfather brought me one of their pizzas on my birthday for dinner. I went back today and it is the most amazing pizza I have ever had!!! The place is a dive but the pizza is amazing so who cares what it looks like.

a few weeks ago a friend brought me home some pizza from this little bar in Marcus Hook called Clanks. He said, dude this place has the best pizza make sure you heat it up in the oven. I did, and it was good, really good. He kept telling me that its some of the best pizza in the area but to really enjoy it, I had to taste it out of the oven so the road trip to Marcus Hook was on. We went last night, you pull up and see this little dive bar and think to yourself, am I in the right place. You open the doors to find your typical american bar, still draped with loads of plastic flags from the 4th of July weekend. The menu is pretty straighforward, its bar food and pizza, but bar food was not the reason I came, pizza was. I have to say that the pizza out of the oven was nothing less then spectacular. I know I have a tendency to use to many superlatives but in this case, I have to reach for one again. This is my new favorite pizza place but like NYPD Pizza, it will be hard to get a fresh pie to my house with regularity on friday nights, becuase I am not close to either however Clanks is certainly worthy of a road trip.
